A Bucket, a Sponge and a Squirt of Fairy Liquid

Time was when the title of this piece summed up the requirements for cleaning the (any) car; fill a bucket with warm water, add a dash of Fairy Liquid (or any handy washing-up liquid), hose the car, wash, hose and dry with a chamois. On high days and holidays maybe another ten minutes with a jar of Simoniz?
